The soundest strategies are based on a purpose true to the organization’s values. Stories are the most effective way to show how that purpose plays out in the world. Stories also have an almost algorithmic structure. The ancient myths showed us how the human imagination is captured by an iconic pattern of story.
Evan formed Story-Is-Strategy Partners after eight years as Directory of Storytelling @ Innosight, where he collaborated with its leaders and clients on telling their most powerful stories.
He partners with organizations on best practices for building out the story world, finding shared values, and setting out on the path of the hero's journey. The aim is to draft stories with actionable insights for growth and transformation.
Evan offers organizations a one-day Story-Is-Strategy seminar and workshop.

Discovering New Solutions to a Global Health Crisis
One in series of Impact Stories - produced in collaboration with Innosight and the Eli Lilly Foundation.
Multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) is one of the world's major public health problems, with an estimated 500,000 new cases annually leading to more than 150,000 deaths. Lilly Foundation's MDR-TB Partnership recently asked Innosight to convene some of the world's top thinkers in global health and other fields for a day deploying Innosight's systems thinking approach. The goal was to develop ideas that would address the significant distribution challenges of getting quality "second-line" drugs to victims in some of the poorest regions of the world.
